Honour Thy Body - Renaissance Project Nocturnal Disruptions

Dear Friends,

1:00 - a short-lived, but intense cramp in the left leg woke us up. The raging rain beating against the single glass windows of the bedroom, threatening to break in, kept us up for another hour.
2:00 - Mind didn't bother God with any of the above, tried to count sheep, grateful to be indoors and not on the road.
7:45 - a tired Body got out of bed
7:48 - "another 8 oz! "Complacency yelled out.
8:35 - swimming pool, steam room
9:25 - skipped breakfast in favour of lunching with friends

11:00 - Mind decided to write, rather than give up her time for a manicure.
13:00 - Body decided not to fit into black skirt, and experienced difficulty walking on heels.
13:15 - "Where's the fun in lunching, then?" A very unhappy Vanity slammed the door behind her.

16:10 - Willpower made us proud.
A lot of thought went into our order at the Mexican restaurant; skinny girls' Margherita (1 shot tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, Perrier), vegetarian enchiladas without cheese, and some rice. The deep fried sweet dough didn't really count, since it was eaten in the company of good, trustworthy friends.

17:30 - met up with son and his father. Mind's only reward during these monthly visits had always been eating and drinking. With Vanity and Body at each other's throat, Complacency had to ask Willpower to work overtime.

21:30 - Although, no one had offered Willpower a hefty bribe, she came through.
Mind thought she deserved a medal for staying sober. Complacency, however, rated our homemade meal (rainbow-trout, pasta salad and a glass of white wine) not so great, just ok!
5 savoured, 1 tolerated, 60 left to delight in...
