Honour Thy Body - Renaissance Project Untwining

Dear Friends,
This morning, we only had an 8:00am outing on the agenda.
My respirologist had deemed my first asthma test to be "false negative," so he had ordered another one! Thankfully, we do not, I repeat, do not have asthma, just capricious bronchi!

With Vanity taking a break from dolling up, Body was able to put up her feet. Once the coughing and sniffling (side effects of the test) stopped, Mind was able to take advantage of the calm surroundings, to work on her plans for September.

12:00 - made a big pot of gazpacho à la Lili - Friday is weighing day

12:40 - can't stop eating, very tasty gazpacho (tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, celery, carrots, parsley, ginger, garlic, olive oil)

19:10 - It has been a very dolce day; reading, writing, watching a movie, sitting on the balcony, eating more gazpacho. I refrained from answering any calls or reading negative people's e-mails.
And then, right before putting the last empty bowl in the sink (5 altogether), it hit me! As long as I concentrate only on me, myself and I, I've no just cause to be unhappy. I had allowed other people's lives, choices and expectations, turn me into a resentful, guilt-ridden, depressed whiner.
I believe what the eighty-nine-year-old French therapist said in her interview with Psychologies Magazine (april 2012), holds the key to being centred. "J'ai  compris que moins on a d'emotions, plus on a d'energie." Simple translation — less emotions, more energy!

40 days left to tick certain energy-sucking names off "My Peoples" list.
