Dear Friends,
Today, we woke up to a few blessed surprises! With everything we've done, eaten, drank and purchased, Complacency is happy to report that weight is lower than expected, bank account higher than anticipated, and after the second wash, hair has become more voluminous.
12:30 - Internet connection down in the building
12:35 - Lunch & Surf at Starbucks
14:30 - bought calcium on the way to physiotherapy
15:00 - Vanity got into an argument with the physiotherapist, over kinesiology tapes,
Was it so hard to understand why a woman wouldn't want to go to a party with a black shoulder armour?
17:10 - passed by a popular after-work bar/restaurant
Although my knees still wobble a bit when I walk by a sunny patio, or a cosy pub, I don't feel the urgency to inhabit one, immediately.
18:17 - The homemade vegetable stir-fry with a piece of steamed Cod is not as tasty as sweet potato fries with aioli, but it makes us all feel good about ourselves. Mind, Vanity and Body are changing their modus operandi, as they each have begun to see the nuances between willpower and control. Hopefully, they will not fall prey to living in extremes, once again, when work starts. After all, moderation is a game that only a cortisol-free Mind and Body can play.
Although I still have to remind myself to slowdown or to unclench my jaw, I believe I will put to good use the remaining 38 days.
