10:00 - met my technology guru, better known as my lifesaver
Since I'm teaching grade three in September, I thought, a least my class newsletter should be transmitted electronically. No need to alarm parents with my shortcomings in technology!
19:45 - returned home to grumpy pipes
Time flies when you are in good company! Teachers can talk with each other endlessly, regardless of their age or personal interests.
Thanks to my wonderful young friend and mentor, my desktop is clean, updates installed, documents properly filed, pictures stored, and most importantly, my website — up and running! As long as no one asks me any questions, I should be able to pass for an electronically savvy grade three teacher (wink wink, nudge nudge)!
Luckily, I still have 13 more days to educate myself!
